a quiet day at home for me to get my thoughts together. My sister-in-law, Jody, who dropped everything this morning to pick me up at the car shop. My husband Jim who is being very patient with me as I struggle with depression, guilt, and menopause.

My friends. I know that this life isn't exactly constant, just as much as the people inside of it come and go. But I'm starting to realize that after high school, everything is going to change. Not completely sure how good/bad that's going to be. So, I'm going to try to savor that as much as possible.

my wife Hagit. Needless to say, she is absolutely beautiful, but more importantly she is my best friend. Hagit gives me support when my life gets so hectic that i can't cope and shows be the beauty of life by being the main caregiver of our three wonderful boys when my time is constrained by work. Thank you Hagit for this and so much more.

I am thankful for the ability to be thankful. Everyone says it is easy to be thankful because all you have to do is chose something you like. Because it is so easy is why it is so special becuase chosing something at first can seem easy but as there becomes difficulties you sometimes feel as if you want to take that back. Gratefuly you can.

I am thankful for the ability to chose. If in life no one could make there own choices then everyone would be no where and man kind would be lost. We may not get to chose our family but we do get to chose to stay with them, what to say to them, how to act with them, our feelings towards them . . . . etc. Luckaly we also get to chose our friends. Friends keep me going and i know i would not get f=very far if i did not have my best friend Kate by my side like i do. I GOT TO CHOSE HER AS MY BEST FRIEND. If i didn't have the option my best friend would probably be a girl i would never ever in my life see myself hanging out with because no one else sees things how you do. Parents try to see what you feel and how you think all the time and they think that they know all about you, but they really don't and for that reason if they chose everything for us we would all be miserable and lost when that person passes on.Kids may not have the choice for school or what to eat but we all have the CHOICE to say YES, NO, Maybe, I Don't Feel like it, etc. I am so grateful that we all get to "CHOSE" in life, because without chosing, i see everything as a big black empty miserable hole.
