I am thankful for my husband the most patient, kind hearted man I have ever met. I am thankful for my brothers continued health, for my daughter, son in law and grandkids. I am grateful for the ability to help all of the above, even if in small measures.

I am thankful for my computer, as it helps me connect to other people. For my husband and family. For the Lord God giving me life and saving me from my sins. For my little chihuahuas. For the tv I hear in the background as I type. For mobility in my fingers to type. For eyes that see. For enough food to eat. For a nice and warm apartment. For health for my family and me. For ouyr old, but running car. For friends who call me. For my housecleaning jobs. For the art of laughing and finding humor in the most unlikely places. that's just a start....

I am grateful that we didn't loose power once over this past week, and that's pretty amazing in West Asheville! I am thankful that many of the plants that were flattened by the snow load are sorta springing back after being uncovered, and for the beauty revealed by the breath of water that engulfs us.

I am grateful for the time and the freedom to explore my passions. Having space to let creative ideas incubate and grow has given birth to many things that otherwise may have only been a fleeting thought. I am grateful for my husband Ricki, he is a gift from heaven! Happy Holy Days to All!

Today I am playing catch up, I have been remiss lately and need to state to the universe on all the things I'm grateful for. 1. I am grateful that all the things that seemed to be wrong with my care seem to have all been fixed by replacing the battery! 2. I am grateful that things worked out the way that they did with me now not going to Italy for the Holidays, as I would be in a foreign country and in need of medical attention, so I'm glad that my plans fell thru and I'm home to take care. 3. I am completely grateful for my wonderful sister , wyrrd sisters and friends who have come to my physical and emotional rescue more than once and for many different things these past few months. 4. I am grateful for the wonderful job that I have and enjoy very much and my completely understanding and patient boss. 5. And finally I so blissfully grateful for my 2 dogs and cats, Jack, Flea, Thistle and Hoodoo, who make life worth getting out of bed everyday, unconditional love from an animal is the best drug ever!

I am thankful that Daisy got her cell phone back. I am thankful for the library. I am thankful for Ms. Cummins and that she got an award this week. I am thankful for Inta who came in today and shelved almost all of the books. I am thankful that somehow I managed to navigate unintentionally to this site and was reminded of practicing gratitude. I am thankful for Donna and thankful in advance to the people who will show up and help me with the book arts project tomorrow and for those who have already cut paper (even with the ooopsies). I am thankful that Chris is still with us today.
